I have to agree that I don’t care for the Glamour Shots look myself, especially if there aren’t any accompanying photos taken in a more naturalistic setting. I want to see a preview of the man I might meet, not a model-esque version that doesn’t exist except on special occasions. It smacks of deceit and desperation.
However, it’s true that most people aren’t terribly photogenic and could use some professional help with their head shots. A good photographer who specializes in online dating profiles will capture you at your best without overdoing the glitz factor.
